Narayana Murthy urges youngsters to work 70 hours a week, flags work culture



In a candid and thought-provoking discussion, Infosys co-founder NR Narayana Murthy has ignited a nationwide debate by suggesting that the youth of India should be prepared to work 70 hours a week to elevate the nation's work culture and compete effectively on the global stage.
Speaking on the inaugural episode of 3one4 Capital's podcast 'The Record, Murthy stressed the urgency of changing India's work productivity. He argued that unless India's youth commit to significantly more working hours, the country will struggle to catch up with economies that have seen remarkable progress over the past few decades. read more

WhatsApp is no longer working on select Android phones and iPhones, check if your phone is on the list


WhatsApp has dropped support for smartphones running on Android 4.4 KitKat and older and iOS 10 and iOS 11 starting October 24, 2023. This means that WhatsApp no longer works on older Android phones and iPhones running on these older OS versions. WhatsApp stated that they stopped supporting older operating systems to focus on the latest ones.
"To choose what to stop supporting, every year we, like other technology companies, look at which devices and software are the oldest and have the fewest number of people still using them. These devices also might not have the latest security updates, or might lack the functionality required to run WhatsApp," reads the official blog post of WhatsApp read more

Youngest Chinese astronaut crew reach space station just 6.5 hours after launch


The Shenzhou-17 spacecraft, with three Chinese astronauts, successfully docked at the forward port of the Tiangong Space Station on Thursday. The docking was completed approximately 6.5 hours after the spacecraft's launch from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.
The Shenzhou-17, developed and operated by China to support its crewed spaceflight program, carried three astronauts, marking China's 12th astronaut flight overall. read more
