Another round of lay offs: Amazon is cutting down several hundred jobs from Alexa and Al unit
Amazon is laying off employees again, and this time, the workers from the Alexa and Al teams are receiving pink slips. The Seattle-based tech giant is reducing its workforce this time with plans to eliminate 'several hundred' positions. Haven't used your UPI for over a year? Your ID may be deactivated soon
The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) which operates the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) has asked banks and payment apps such as Google Pay, Paytm, PhonePe, etc to deactivate UPI IDs and numbers of customers who have not performed any transactions for one year or more.
The deadline to deactivate the UPI IDs is December 31. Customers who have not been active for more than one year will not be able to receive funds on their UPI IDs from January, according to an NPCI circular. read more
