Not 70, Google employees spend this many hours at work on average

Bad news for Wipro employees, top performers will not get any hike this year



Since the beginning of this year, many tech giants have cut down costs by either conducting large-scale layoffs, freezing hiring new candidates, not giving any salary hikes to employees and so on. And renowned software company Wipro is one of them. The company, in February this year, had made headlines for slashing freshers' job offers. More recently. Virgin Galactic to ground space tourist plane VSS Unity by 2024


Virgin Galactic, the pioneering space tourism company, has announced plans to reduce the frequency of its current suborbital vehicle flights and cease them entirely by mid-2024.
The decision comes as the company shifts its focus towards the development of its next-generation vehicles, known as the Delta-class, SpaceNews reported.
The announcement was made during a November 8 earnings call, where it was revealed that the VSS Unity, Virgin Galactic's current suborbital vehicle, would transition to a quarterly flight schedule starting with its next mission, Galactic 06. in January 2024. read more

IIT Madras develops mobile app for inter-city goods logistics, check details here


The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) faculty, students and the alumni have developed a mobile application to enable easier and efficient transportation of goods within cities. The app is called 'OptRoute. It is a phone application that connects the driver with the customer and does not take any commission or onboarding fee.
The first version of the App has been developed and commercialised through OptRoute Logistics, an IIT Madras-incubated start-up co-founded by Professor N S Narayanaswamy. Department of Computer Science and Engineering. IIT Madras and Mr Anuj Fulia, an IIT Madras alumnus. read more
